Every year the CGSA organizes various social events like golfing, canoeing and potlucks that are open to everyone in the department including students, faculty, staff and friends. Just watch out for announcements and join us!

- Canoeing: July 28th, 2010
- The Newport Aquarium: August 11th, 2010
- White Water Rafting: September 11th, 2010
- Speaker of the Year 2011 - Christy Haynes: February 11th, 2011
