Every year the CGSA awards the Graduate Student of the Year Award to one of the chemistry graduate students. All active members can nominate students they believe deserve the award. After all nominations are collected, all active members of the CGSA can vote for a candidate. The student that receives this award is announced during the annual departmental awards ceremony in the Spring quarter. While this is the only award the CGSA presents, there are many more awards, scholarships and fellowships that you can apply for.
